- Quite an improvement over the standard X52, but some things still not up to the level of the X45 Please note, I'm writing this from the perspective of someone who used the Saitek X45 for 4 years, so most notes are comparing it, the X52 Pro, and the X52 standard. I get rather nitpicky about individual features, so for those interested in the.

As part of the recently ended steam sale, I picked up X3: Terran Conflict. I'm finding the game more fun to play with a joystick then a keyboard and mouse.
This realization has led to my new found desire for a Saitek X52 flight control system - it seems sweet - does anyone here have one? How is it? I've never had a full FCS, just crappy sidewinder joysticks.
Assuming that the X52 is pretty cool, what good games are out there that take advantage of full joystick setups? Back in the day my favorite joystick games where:
1) X-wing, Privateer, etc..
2) Mechwarrior Games
3) Apache Longbow 2
So, I spent a little time looking around. X3 seems a worthy replacement for category #1. However, it seems like no MechWarrior or helicopter flight sims have been released in a long time. Am I missing something? Are these games out there and I'm just not seeing them?
Any other suggestions for some modern games that are more fun with a flight control system?
Thanks!
